Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your AEG Dishwasher.
Regular Cleaning and Maintenance
Ensure that the dishwasher's controls are cleaned with a soft cloth and warm water. Regularly check and clean the internal dispensers, door seal, and water inlet filter to prevent dirt build-up. Avoid using aggressive cleaners.
Check Filters
Regularly inspect and clean the filters at the base of the washing compartment. Dirty filters can spoil wash results. Remove the lower basket, turn the filter handle about ¼ turn anticlockwise, and remove the filter system for cleaning.
Spray Arm Maintenance
Check the jets in the spray arms for blockages regularly. This ensures proper water flow and cleaning efficiency. Clean any blockages that may be present in the spray arm jets.
Avoid Overloading
Do not overload the dishwasher baskets. Ensure dishes are loaded in a way that allows the dishwashing water to reach all items for effective cleaning.
Use Correct Detergents
Always use good quality detergent and ensure the correct amount is used. This prevents issues with cleaning performance and residue on dishes.
